Growing Together

Work is underway for a brighter future at the

Maple Grove Community Center

The City of Maple Grove is moving forward on a plan to renovate and expand the Maple Grove Community Center to serve our growing and diversifying population.

After nearly 25 years from when the Community Center first opened its doors, Maple Grove residents approved a local half-percent sales tax to reinvest in the building, ensuring it can continue serving our rapidly-growing community for the next 25 years.

Design work and pre-construction is in progress, and construction on the first project in phase one — adding a third sheet of ice to the ice arena — has been completed. Phase two is in final design stages with the bidding process to take place spring of 2026 and final construction completed by the end of 2028.
